Sustenance: Spirit Meditation

I arise today through a mighty Strength

of the three things that Sustain me:

courage in my walking,

curiosity in my thinking,

compassion in my relating.

Walking through my life and and facing the challenges that this day brings:

burdens, gifts, worries, joys, demands on my Self that stretch me beyond what I know.

Thinking and responding in my mind and heart to the challenges that this day brings:

inquiring about the good and the just, asking and pressing beyond the status quo.

Relating to being, animal, mineral, plant and human that this day brings:

finding a generosity born of the common fabric of Existence to which we belong.

These three ask of me to take courage, to ask questions, to deal in compassion.

These three in full reciprocity sustain me:

Giving me a way to travel the steps of my path

Offering me a wisdom made larger than answers

Accepting me in this moment just the way that I am.

I arise today through a mighty Strength

of the three things that Sustain me:

courage in my walking,

curiosity in my thinking,

compassion in my relating.

With honor to Spirit above, with honor to Spirit below, with honor to Spirit within.

All things.  All beings.  All is One.
