Harvesting Your World

“Loving people live in a loving world; hostile people live in a hostile world.  Same world.”  ~ Wayne Dyer

Every day that you are alive is a new harvest.  What are you harvesting in your life right now?  Will your needs, as well as your desires, be fed by it?

Regardless of the answer to that question, it is important to remember that life is cyclic, and because of this it is never too late.  Even if you have regrets leftover from yesterday, you can decide today to plant seeds that will grow to become joy, prosperity, abundance, love…   Not only for you, but for those whose lives you touch.  You can cultivate whatever your heart longs for, from seed, to seedling, to ripened fruit.

When you wake up in the morning, what thoughts enter your mind?  Is there joyous anticipation of the day ahead?  Or do you begin the day by cursing your alarm clock?  How you answer this question determines what your experience of the day will be like, regardless of the situations you encounter.

There will always be circumstances that are beyond our control, that’s just the reality of living as humans on earth.  But what is never left to chance is our attitude.  Is the glass half full or half empty?  Are you reaching for the light or steeped in the darkness?  Do you get mired in the problems, or do you seek solutions?  Just as the type of seeds we plant determine the type of crop we will harvest, the perspective we choose from which to view the world determines our experience of it.   Every day, every time.

What kind of world do you choose to live in?  What type of seeds are you sowing, and what will you harvest today?
