The Gift of Now

In a world of endless motion,
where time slips through our hands,
love waits, quiet and unspoken,
in the stillness where we stand.

Not in the rush of tomorrow,
nor shadows of days long past,
but here, where breaths are woven,
and moments truly last.

To pause is a sacred offering,
to meet the gaze, the voice, the sigh,
to feel the heartbeat’s gentle echo,
and let the noise drift by.

A child’s laughter, soft and fleeting,
a friend’s unspoken plea,
the rustling wind, the scent of rain,
a world we rarely see.

Presence asks for nothing more
than all we are, right here.
It holds no fear of silence,
no armor for the tear.

So lay down your heavy burdens,
and let the chaos cease.
Find love within this moment—
a holy, tender peace.

For in the practice of presence,
we touch the heart of grace,
and live the love that binds us all
in this shared and sacred space..
