My daughter is going to start going to Gwinnett Tech in January. It’s a three year program for sonography. I’m so happy that she is going to be starting a new chapter in her life.
She will meet new people. See new sights. She will have the challenge of finishing her program and start working in her chosen career.
My life will change in a huge way. I will not have her by my side all the time. I will have to adjust my life. I have to admit that I’m a bit scared but I have faced many things that were worse.
I will have more freedom to do things that I want to do for myself. I will also have to learn to do things on my own. I’m looking forward to the challenges in the next year.
I see us as caterpillars in our cocoons making changes in our lives. So, we can become beautiful butterflies and fly in the summer breeze. . Yes, this is what I believe. Change can be wonderful. That is a good thing!
